The verified winner list above protects historical fact. The fictional examples below demonstrate the much deeper experience being built for every rights-cleared 2025 film: long-form story context, filmmaker voice, credits, stills, screening history and a trailer that plays without sending the visitor away.
These three titles are fictional interface demonstrations. They are not 2025 selections or winners.

Cinema culture beyond the competition
The festival’s public voice includes more than selections and winners. HIFF’s 2025 campaign also created editorial material celebrating wider screen culture. This tribute artwork honoring Shah Rukh Khan’s cinematic career is preserved here as a campaign artifact—not as a claim that the artist attended, partnered with or received an HIFF award at the inaugural event.
Future archive entries will distinguish clearly between official selection, winner announcement, festival appearance, editorial tribute and promotional campaign.
Additional films, filmmakers, official-selection records, event materials and verified credits will be added only after source and rights review.
