Welcome should feel considered from the curb to the closing credits.

HIFF’s audience experience is being planned as one continuous sequence: clear pre-arrival information, dignified guest flow, readable wayfinding, accessible entry, informed front-of-house teams and spaces where filmmakers and audiences can meet without the evening becoming impersonal.

A ticket should make the festival easier to experience—not harder to understand.

The final ticket structure will depend on the number of selected films, screening blocks, venue capacities and ceremony format. Possible products may include individual screenings, day access, festival passes or special-event admission, but none is yet approved or on sale.

When sales open, every product will clearly state what it includes, capacity or availability, fees, refund and exchange rules, accessibility provisions and any required registration for Masterclasses or Industry Talks.

HIFF is committed to building a festival experience with readable digital information, accessible navigation and clear venue guidance. Final services—such as accessible seating, companion access, captioning, assistive listening, mobility routes and accommodation requests—will be published only after the venue and programme technology are verified.

Selected-film pages are planned to identify available captions, subtitles, audio description and other accessibility assets so audiences can make informed choices before booking.
